Terms of Service

By registering for or using EmiratesB2B ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and EmiratesB2B (a company incorporated in Dubai, UAE). Use of the Platform is also subject to our Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into binding contracts on behalf of yourself or the company you represent. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet these requirements.

Suppliers must hold a valid UAE trade license issued by a relevant licensing authority (DED, ADCED, Sharjah Economic Development, or equivalent free zone authority).

Suppliers are responsible for:

- Providing accurate and up-to-date business information and trade license documents - Ensuring all product listings comply with UAE law and are not prohibited goods - Responding to buyer inquiries in good faith - Keeping pricing and availability information current

EmiratesB2B reserves the right to verify, suspend, or permanently remove any supplier account or listing that violates these Terms or applicable UAE regulations.

Buyers may use the Platform to discover suppliers, send inquiries, and post Requests for Quotation (RFQs). Buyers agree not to:

- Submit fraudulent or misleading inquiries - Use supplier contact information for purposes other than genuine trade inquiries - Circumvent the Platform to avoid agreed fees (once fee-based features are introduced) - Harass or threaten suppliers

Users may not list, promote, or request the following goods or services:

- Counterfeit or trademark-infringing goods - Controlled substances, narcotics, or precursor chemicals without proper licensing - Weapons, ammunition, or military equipment - Alcohol (unless the supplier holds a valid UAE liquor license) - Goods subject to UAE import or export sanctions - Any goods or services illegal under UAE federal or emirate-level law

Violations will result in immediate removal and may be reported to UAE authorities.

Suppliers retain ownership of the content they upload (product descriptions, images, company information). By uploading content, you grant EmiratesB2B a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, and distribute that content on the Platform for the purpose of facilitating trade.

The EmiratesB2B brand, logo, platform design, and software are the exclusive property of EmiratesB2B and may not be reproduced without written permission.

EmiratesB2B is a marketplace facilitator only. We do not buy, sell, or hold inventory. We are not a party to any transaction between buyers and suppliers. All sales contracts, delivery obligations, payment terms, and warranties are solely between the buyer and supplier.

EmiratesB2B is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or delivery of any goods transacted through the Platform.

Supplier registration and basic listings (up to 5 products) are currently free. EmiratesB2B may introduce paid plans in the future. Any fee changes will be communicated to registered users at least 30 days in advance.

Paid features, once introduced, will be governed by additional subscription terms available at the time of purchase.

To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, EmiratesB2B shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of data, or business interruption.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to EmiratesB2B in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users by email of material changes. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance.
